Special Screening: Facing war

The ANP and Internationaal Perscentrum Nieuwspoort cordially invite you to a special screening of the documentary Facing War, taking place on Monday 24 June at Nieuwspoort. The event is organised in collaboration with Movies That Matter and takes place on the eve of the NATO summit in The Hague.

📅 Tuesday 24 june 2025
🕖 19:00 - 21:30
📍 Nieuwspoort, Bezuidenhoutseweg 67 Den Haag

Facing War

The documentary offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during his final year in office. It follows his efforts to unite NATO leaders — including Joe Biden, Volodymyr Zelensky, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Viktor Orbán — at a time when international support for Ukraine is under increasing pressure. As political tensions rise, Stoltenberg must navigate diplomatic fault lines to preserve unity within the alliance.

Following the screening, there will be a live discussion featuring journalist Leonard Ornstein and (subject to change) director Tommy Gulliksen (joining via video link).
